Who Controls Legacy Media?
Well done basics.
Stop youtube's monopoly. They abuse the privlage they have. They're demonstating why anti-trust laws are important. Their abuse of algorythems is ruining the nation's discourse.

7 major news elements: * Timeliness * Proximity * Prominence * Oddity * Consequence * Conflict * Human interest
I’ve watched three videos so far, being mostly interested in biased news media today and its effect on the United States constitutional republic. I’m looking for literally anything about journalistic integrity when it comes to news media such as newspapers (both online and print) video news services, news magazines, and news podcasts. The reason is because my hometown newspaper has been owned by the, now, largest newspaper company in the country (probably the world?) and the lack of actual local news and the horrific bias of the journalists is too much to take and just sit back doing nothing. It’s my opinion that only an unbiased Press, protected by the first amendment freedom of the press, along with the right to free speech, can protect this Republic from becoming a footnote in world history’s biography. So keep the videos coming and if you have other channels that talk about newspapers especially, I’d be thankful for any names of accounts. Again, great content so far!
Just the source I needed!
Very well presented. Thank you.
Suing got plenty of RECIEPTS

Good overview for the citizen journalists.
Advertisers need to realize that how comments underneath their advertisements which are videos could be handled by strangers after they are made is altogether both out of their oversight and out of their control after it has been taken out of that context. That could lead to that advertiser ending up in a horrible legal problem while the competition between advertisers who are working for businesses and/or who are working for a government escalates out of control when any kind of dramatic change happens in the national economy. Advertiser copy write editors hold a lot of responsibility when ensuring that accurate information is being shared. They can no longer be held as responsible for misinformation being shared while a trade war is going on which includes computer viruses which are shutting down the ad broadcasting entirely nor can they be held responsible for harm caused when the advertisement which has been published got taken way out of context. Could a civilian ever be accused of being an advertiser when they are not only because some government agent didn't like the opinion which they were sharing at the time? I have another important question. Since when have judges been given the right to call something an advertisement any time they want to when it was not?
Interesting and eye-opening. Thank you.
Thank you so much sir❤
This 10 minute video taught me a lot more than a Spotify podcast that lasted for 43 minutes. You make your words clear and easy to understand which I greatly appreciate you for it since I'm still 12 years old hahaha
Just wanted to say I think your videos are very well composed, informative, concise and overall AWESOME Prof. Grabowski. In fact they have served as a constant source of inspiration for me. (especially at the moment due to the current weather.) I'm unlikely to ever formally attend school for journalism. I'm 42 yrs old and grew up working construction/landscaping. But I've always had a lifelong love of Literature and Storytelling. (Mark Twain, William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, Stephen Crane etc etc. so..The Classics primarily.) Your videos have done much to demystify the process for me and I intend to start practicing soon. One of my fatal flaws is that I have an unfortunate (reader-of-classics-inspired) tendency to use five words when two would probably suffice. So that is going to be a barrier for me. Are there any modern journalists you would recommend checking out in order to gain insight? I am NOT politically oriented to any great degree. I try to be fairly objective in that regard. Or, as much as possible at least. So I don't really care about any particular political leanings of the author(s) so much as ABILITY. I like Marshal McLuhan (of course) and have a begrudging respect for many of Walter Lippmann's ideas. (as cynical as they may have been, much of it seems plausible.) So far? I've got to say you're my favorite though.
After watching this video I've gained more knowledge but that has made me even more confused. btw THANKS
Nice 👍
Big Tech proves that AntiTrust laws simply don't work.
Thank you. I've learned a lot of laws with this course, which before I did not know.
I'm a believer in equal rights, although I know they don't really exist. I despise Nazis and have learned enough about Islam to despise the vast majority of them. Yet I have no trouble defending their right to free speech and open press, although they would silence me. The only way to protect your right to free speech and freedom of the press is to grant it to people you don't like!

Great!great!great! Love the content. Gotta watch another one at 3:34AM.
You are awesome, really. I need a lot of help to improve my story telling. This video helped me a lot. I plan to put to good practice. Thank you, sir.

Agood description like that is well understandable
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much for telling me how to think as a journalist and pointing out the important fact that people shouldn’t be skeptical of journalists that are trained and part of a state or privately funded institution like the Washington post. I forgot because of all the mistakes but thank you for reminding me that they have “standards.” Geez bro, why don’t you just give the lesson and stop making a case for how you think journalism should be institutionalized?
Very nice information I enjoyed to learn this. Thank you
Ethereum is the biggest scam on the planet. Bitcoin will prevail.
i love it!!
Thank you for sharing this, Mark!
@Mark Grabowski: U got ur history wrong. Rockefeller was great 4 consumers (see link below). However, he put a lot of smaller, connected competitors out of business, and he became powerful enough so that the politicians felt threatened (and thats the only reason why they enacted the laws agains him). In reality, however, he was never more that 1-2 % of gdp, and over his career, his prices fell by 90% and he was popular to work for. Of course we are fed on the opposite by media and politicians. What is their product?
THANKS FOR THIS VID, SIR!! Im a photojournalist student and this vid help me more in terms of camera composition and captioning, keep it up, sir!!

Thanks for the lecture, professor! For me, a brazilian studying communication, your video was extremely useful both to listen and enhance my english, and to get to know better how the legislative system works in the USA, a country with such a big influence in the rest of the world - specially if we talk about technology and internet -. Keep up with the good work, and thank you one more time. Cheers from Brazil!
